Our team can apply the appropriate technologies for all stages of your product development cycle – from design target specification through to verification. This includes:
- CAD complemented with 3D digitisation to define geometries (for immersive visualisation and load response calculations as well as production)
- Interactive immersive 3D visualisation (to review and assess a product in a virtual environment)
- Computer simulation for dynamic and static events to understand product behaviour and limitations (stiffness, strength, deflections, kinematics and failure modes)
- Experimental testing and data acquisition for product assessments
Simpact engineers have always led the way in making the most of existing and upcoming techniques and combining their strengths. In 2013, we pioneered the technique of including actual finite element results (such as contour plots) with a high quality photo realistic rendered environment. In 2024, we pioneered the use of interactive immersive 3D visualisation to better identify and communicate the context around customer product operational conditions.
