Design Detailing Services
Design detailing is a balancing act between cost, performance, durability, repairability, sustainability, safety and aesthetics. We use Computer Aided Design (CAD) to define the geometry. It allows us to verify and tune the design by virtual testing, i.e. using computer simulations to predict the performance and sensitivities to steer the design.
The use of CAD also means that we can place a design in a 3D virtual reality version of its operational environment. This is very useful for collaborative design reviews with the client. This compresses the design time as concerns and opportunities can be identified early on before physical prototypes are possible.
